After Microsoft, its Google turn to take a bashing practically everyday.
According to certain sources, THE GOOGLE search spider can destroy a badly designed or managed website. This surprising news is claimed by a content management designer named Josh Breckman. According to him, after developing a content management system for a government website all the data from the website vanished into thin air. According to him this happened because a single IP ‘had gone in and deleted all the content and the address resolved to googlebot.com’.
He admits that it’s not Google fault entirely and a user had pasted content and added a hyper link from one page to another. However this incident highlights Google’s ability to hack and the fact that it ignored cookies, javascript and follows each hyperlink on the page it finds including those with "Delete Page". The Google Spider strikes again!
