Microsoft these days is always in the news for the wrong reasons.
Today news has just poured in that the Windows Vista will be further delayed and would now be launched around 27 January 2007. Thats a long delay and makes you wonder what they have up their sleeves.
Because of certain complications, some vendors may see it around January 2007 while others can use it around November 2006. This is not good news for a lot of companies as they had planned to launch new products with the Vista as the OS especially the various PC vendors.
While DELL may just manage fine, companies like HP and Gateway may be in some trouble with the delay .According to Microsoft, the delay is necessary to provide top notch security levels and were heard saying “We're trying to crank up the security level higher than ever," "This came down to a few weeks. We're trying to do the responsible thing here."
