The new Mac Pro Book since its inception has been generating a lot of buzz and the aluminum-shelled notebook replaces the PowerBook in Apple's lineup. The first feature that stands out is its sleek design where the Pro Book is just 1 inch thick and weighs about 5.6 pounds. Then there is the vibrant display on the 15.4-inch screen which is about 67% brighter than its predecessor the PowerBook. At this point one needs to point out that Mac Pro is a beautiful piece of machinery and one hell of a looker.
The Mac Pro is also noticeably faster than its predecessor and is the ultimate machine for multimedia applications. Both DVD-Playback and Audio Playback left a lasting impression and the built in Bluetooth is a much welcomed feature. There are two new addition is the Software Suite, one the iWeb which makes publishing pages to the Internet a snap and Photo Booth which uses Mac Book Pro's built in camera to snap pictures with or without special effects. The only drawback that comes to mind is that the Intel Chip becomes warm at long usage (get a notebook cooling pad) and the second is the switch away from the standard PC slot.
If they ever tried to put the Windows XP on the Mac Pro Book, some people might go ballistic.
