
Panasonic Corporation is all set to launch the latest addition to the ever popular Toughbook series. News has just poured in, that this new version would be called Panasonic Toughbook-74 and will have a solid magnesium alloy case (thats nice!) with a spill-resistant keyboard for cuppacino addicts. It would be powered by the new Intel Core Duo Processor T2400, and will also feature an 80GB shock-mounted HDD.
The Toughbook-74 will also include state of the art features like daylight-readable screen, 7 hour of battery life, an optional finger print scanner and a Trusted Platform Module. The standard 512MB SDRAM can be expanded to 4 GB and Connectivity options include WLAN and Bluetooth. With an estimated street price of $2,999.00 it is said to be release by April.
