Toshiba's Digital Products Division has released their new line of Satellite(R) M100 Series notebooks integrating for the first time both Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo and Intel Core Solo processors(a) for cutting edge performance and high graphical display. It also includes features like: 14.1-inch WXGA diagonal display with optional TruBrite(TM) technology, 40GB to 120GB 5400 rpm hard drive storage and 256MB to 2048MB memory thus enhancing the overall digital experience for the users.
The notebook also has applications like the Express Media Player for ready access to DVDs and CDs without booting Windows. Toshiba has also thrown in the standard a 5-in-1 bridge media adapter for better performance. Users can also either opt for the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 or the ATI Mobility RADEON(R) X1300.
The Satellite(R) M100 Series notebook sports a Mobile Intel 945 Express chipset and the Intel PRO/Wireless (b) 3945 ABG network connection. One can choose between the CD-RW/DVD-ROM or DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive which can read up to 11 formats. The notebooks start from a price tag of $1,034 and are available now for purchase.
Sounds like a good deal to me. The first time I ever handled a Toshiba laptop was pretty weird. I needed to switched on 2 buttons to power it on. Nuts
