Microsoft's Live.com has just got an upgrade and now they have launched the Windows Live Search beta. While the URL is very easy to remember unlike the (search.msn.com), it still needs lots of work when compared to the almighty Giant Google. For starters once you access the page, an animation is loaded. So if you have a slow connection, learn to be patient. I had accessed the page through firefox and I'm still waiting for it to load.
When I typed 'Corrs' in the search engine, all I got was more loading till I finally lost all my patience and cancelled the search. If Microsoft wants to compete with Google, it should remember that Google can be accessed quickly from any PC with any connection in the world. When the results are finally displayed, we have to tolerate more animations and the results are not separated on different pages but are displayed in a straight list. All I can say is - what was Microsoft thinking?
