
Canon Europe today launched the worlds’ first 60" large format printer, the imagePROGRAF iPF9000 targeted mainly at the print-for-pay sector. The imagePROGRAF iPF9000 features the worlds first high-density twin print head which incorporates FINE (Full Photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology. Because of the FINE technology 4-pl (picolitre) ink droplets results in delicate color gradation, high-definition appearance and precision. The high-speed controller results in increased output speed without compromising on the quality.

The dual print head produces up to 2400 x 1200 dpi and also features a large LCD for with a high-speed USB 2.0 interface, and Ethernet. Users can experiment on a large variety of media types including Plain paper, CAD, recycled, glossy, proofing, and synthetic, poster, fine art, sign media.
