A great addition to the LCD world is the UltraSharp 2007WFP, the latest offering by DELL which promises widescreen theater experience to one’s desktop. The UltraSharp 2007WFP is the first DELL 20-inch widescreen monitor which features the DVI-HDCP support which is requisite to watch the future generation of high-definition DVDs. The monitor has all the right curves and has an understated style to it too. The On-Screen Display (OSD) doesn’t disappoint and the menu is pretty easy to navigate.
The UltraSharp 2007WFP aspect ratio is 16:10 and native ratio 1,680 x 1,050 pixels. The monitor is pretty sleek and is about 2.5 inches thick, and weighs less than 15 pounds. The LCD monitor includes four USB 2.0 ports on the monitor, two on the right side and two on the back. The four input connectors on the back include display for DVI-HDCP, VGA, composite video, and S-Video. Some other features found on this trooper include; 20.1-inch diagonal viewing area; 16:10 aspect ratio; 1,680 x 1,050 native resolution; 800:1 contrast ratio; DVI-HDCP, VGA, S-Video, and composite inputs; four USB 2.0 ports; S-IPS display technology; height-adjustable; and a slow 16-ms response time as in other Dell 20 inch LCD monitors.
