Lexmark International, Inc has just launched a series of printers which include the Lexmark X3470, Lexmark X2470 and the Lexmark X1270. We shall look at all of them briefly:
The first is the Lexmark X3470 AIO which offers good value for money with features like print speeds up to 17 pmp, 48-bit color scanner and color copier and premium photo features. It includes PictBridge technology and Lexmark's first scan able photo proof sheet. Borderless 4x6-inch photos can also be printed by the X3470 which has an estimated net price of $75. Then there is the three-in-one Lexmark X2470 printer which is capable of direct photo printing, scanning and copying and prints at speeds up to 17 ppm. One can also plug in their cameras in to the PictBridge port to print borderless 4X6 pictures. The cheapest out of the three printers is the Lexmark X1270 which has an estimated retail price of $49.99. the printers delivers speeds up to 17/9 ppm for black/color printing, up to 4,800 dpi print quality, and a 48-bit color scanner and color copier. All the printers will be available by May 2006.
