Big storage in a small factor.Maxtor Corporation has just launched the Maxtor One Touch III Mini Edition drive which has a very small form factor and has been designed for the consumers on the go. It weighs just about seven ounces and the included software results in automated backup, data encryption, data synchronization and system rollback.
The Maxtor OneTouch III Mini Edition is extremely stylish and the patented Maxtor Sync software is capable of automatic synchronization between two computers. Then there is the system roll back feature which reverses harmful changes by spy ware and adware and the automated backup ensures data back up. The Maxtor OneTouch III Mini Edition has two levels of security, one is the software encryption which protects the data and the other is the Maxtor DriveLock firmware which further restricts access to stored data and prevents unauthorized use. The drive is available in two sizes, 60GB or 100GB and is easily compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP computer via a USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 port.
