Sony Japan has recently has added a whole gamut of laptops to their Vaio series which would be available only in Japan for now (I want to live in Japan now). These include the VGN-FE90PS1 and VGN-FE90PS2 in the Sony Vaio F series.
The VGN-FE90PS1 is powered on a Intel Core Solo processor T1300 (1.66GHz) and the VGN-FE90PS2 on the Intel Celeron M processor 420 (1.60 GHz). They feature the celebrated Intel 945GM Express chip set and include a 15.4 WXGA display with a special anti reflection coating for easy viewing and vivid display. That's good for bloggers like me as out eyes are important assets. Like all Vaio notebooks, these babies are extremely good looking and extremely chic. They are compact and light-weight. The notebook only weighs around 2.8kg and is 28mm thin.
The series may be configured according to one’s needs and includes a DVD±RW (DVD+R2 layer record correspondence) drive, a built in 4GHz/5GHz (IEEE802.11a/b/g) wireless LAN and also features a Web camera which is loaded onto a liquid crystal (LCD) top which Sony calls MOTION EYE. Users can take full advantage of software like Windows OS and Norton Anti-viruses. Some other configurations include I.LINK (IEEE1394) S400 (4 pins) ×1, Hi-Speed USB (USB2.0) (high/full/low speed correspondence) ×3, Headphone output (stereo and mini- jack) ×1, Bluetooth functional built-in and Memory stick PRO Duo, high-speed data transfer and Sony Magic Gate correspondence.
