This one interesting news. Looks like Sony as a Japanese company is targeting specific races for its products. Maybe they'll come out with a black/white special edition for Micheal Jackson fans.
Sony Electronics is all set to release a Spanish version of its popular VAIO notebooks and is exclusively targeted at the Hispanic population settled in the US. In fact this is the first time that there has been a Spanish PC released in the states and no doubt this will be appreciated by the Hispanic population in the states. The VAIO notebook would include the same features which are available in the FJ series. Some of these features include; a compact and slim design, a 14.1-inch widescreen, a built-in camera, a microphone, an onboard DVD+R double layer/DVD+/-RW drive and XBRITE-ECO(TM) LCD technology among others. The notebook would be available this month and the starting price would be around $1,400.
The Spanish-version FJ en Espanol notebook will be available in colors like Onyx Black, Pearl White, Sky Blue, Jade Green and Raspberry Red. Sony has also taken up a unique marketing scheme to promote the notebook. They have launched a soccer-themed promotion where on purchase customers will get a personalized jersey with their name and number of choice in the color of their favorite team.
