We just covered the new Averatec 7100 series and now we have some further news about it. It looks like that Averatec has collaborated with Zone Labs(R), a Check Point company and would integrate its celebrated ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite in to its new notebooks. However users can access the software only for a 30 day trial period after which they have to purchase it for a special of $49.99.

This move has been welcomed by both the companies and for the uninitiated; the ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite is a complete one stop solution to all sec security needs. It includes antivirus and anti-spy ware features with automatic updates, wireless network safety features, parental controls and ID Lock feature. It also includes a state of the art firewall.
