Advantech has just unveiled a new 12.1 in SVGA TFT color flat panel monitor which is capable of an 800 x 600 resolution and includes direct-VGA port. The new FPM-3120G LCD display has a luminance of 350 cd/m² and supports XGA, SVGA, VGA, and text mode; auto-recognition of input signal; and VESA arm, desktop, panel, and wall mounting options. Care has been taken to make the front panel as hardy as possible and front panel is made of aluminum and has an anodic coating.
The new Advantech display is NEMA4/IP65 compliant, thus one doesn't have to worry about abrasion and acid corrosion. This LCD is ideal for dynamic environments like industrial or commercial applications and comes in both resistive and capacitive touch screens. The LCD backlight has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours and is available for $845.
