Canon U.S.A expanded their printing portfolio recently which includes the imagePROGRAF iPF9000 and the imagePROGRAF iPF700/iPF600/iPF500. The new Color imageRUNNER C5180 includes the exclusive color imagePlatform system platform, and an imageCHIP (Concurrent Hyper Intelligent Platform) for better performance and stability. It can print up to 51 pages-per-minute (ppm) for both black-and-white and color and the Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform makes the printer highly customizable. The imagePROGRAF iPF9000 and the imagePROGRAF iPF700/iPF600/iPF500 have been targeted at the highly demanding graphical industry and the iPF9000 is Canon’s 60-inch large format. It would feature a 12-color printing system with Canon LUCIA(TM) pigment inks.
The new printers include the exclusive patented Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) high-precision print head technology and the iPF700 can print at 70 pages-per-minute (ppm) for letter-sized output in color and black & white and is also targeted at graphics based industry.
