SigmaTel Inc today announced its tie up with Konica Minolta. Basically both companies have joined hands regarding the popular Konica Minolta Magicolor 2480 MF color laser All-In-One (AIO) system. SigmaTel will now incorporate its critically acclaimed STDC2040 System-on-Chip (SoC) chip to the Konica Minolta magicolor 2480 MF color laser All-In-One (AIO) system which has features like print, copy, scan, and camera-direct photo print. Clients of both companies will be able to see the printer with Sigmatel chip during the Computex consumer electronics trade show in Taipei this week.For the uninitiated SigmaTel is a world leader when it comes to providing semiconductor-based solutions to the AIO market. No doubt this new collaboration with Konica Minolta will further add credibility to its amazing and renowned portfolio.
