Okay it doesn’t get any better than this. The new Macbook a replacement to the iBook is finally here and from the looks of it, is all ready to be a superstar. The new 13 inch Macbook will feature the latest Intel Duo Core technology , however will still be affordable since the standard model is about $1100. Apple is trying something new as for a change users can also opt for a black Macbook which looks as good as its white counterpart. The Macbook claims to be 5 times faster than the iBook and promises cutting edge performance and functionality. One can opt for a 1.83GHz or 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo processor and as far as optical drives are concerned, you can opt for Slot-loading Combo drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW) or Slot-loading SuperDrive with double-layer read support (DVD+R, DVD±RW, CD-RW). It includes an Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory chipset and a Built-in iSight camera with 640-by-480-pixel resolution.
Connectivity options include Built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45 connector), built-in 54-Mbps AirPort Extreme wireless networking (based on 802.11g standard) and a Built-in Bluetooth 2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) up to 3 Mbps.
