Sharp Document Solutions Company of America (SDSCA) recently added three new multifunctional printers in the portfolio. These new printers are all part of the MX Series color MFP (multifunctional peripheral) and include MX-5500N, MX-6200N and MX-7000N. Perfect for large workgroups and corporate houses, the printers promise to be a one stop solution to all office work. In fact the best part being that they have been priced reasonably without compromising on features or performance.
Sharp integrated some of the most advanced features available today into one, streamlined design. However, we realised the importance of ease-of-use for individual users," noted Marusic. "To meet the individuals' needs, the MX Series features a customizable user interface that allows for key functions and features to be placed at the top of the menu and tailored for each user."
The printers include a LCD display and have speeds ranging from 55 to 70 PPM. Sharp has also incorporated their exclusive Sharp Open Systems Architecture (Sharp OSA) which results in seamless integration with other network devices. The printers can print colour documents at 41 PPM and have B&W speeds ranging from 55 PPM (MX-5500N) to 62 PPM (MX-6200N) to 70 PPM (MX-7000N. Becasue its designed for office space , the printers are also able to print directly from a USB drive. The MX Series can also be configured for a corporate network, using LDAP protocols, via a virtual QWERTY keyboard on the MFP's large 10.4-inch LCD screen or an optional external USB keyboard before they can copy, scan, fax or e-mail.
