The Belkin N1 Wireless Router is the latest addition to the Belkin family and is capable of speeds up to 300Mbps. It has been designed for multitasking and lets one run a number of applications off one router without any connection drops like Streaming HD video, listening to digital music, play online games, transfer photos and home videos, email and make Voip calls. It includes the Atheros’ XSPAN technology and a Network Status Display which shows you the status of your network. Like the blue light indicates everything is okay and the amber icon indicates problems on it. Cool.
The N1 Wireless Router is based on the 802.11n platform and uses intelligent MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) spatial multiplexing techniques for receiving and sending data. The N1 also features an enhanced firewall and WPA2-Personal, 64-bit, 128-bit WEP encryption for greater security. It offers backward compatibility with 802.11b and 802.11g networks.
