ViewPlus Technologies has launched a new printer called Emprint which is also the world's first Braille printer and is targeted at both the visually challenged and the sighted. The Emprint printer is pretty innovative since it prints in Braille at the same time it prints the corresponding ink characters besides or above the Braille text. Any text from the computer is printed in both Braille and color ink and it also prints in tactile and bright ink for those who have weak eyesight. The Emprint is pretty to use and anyone can adapt to it within minutes. Braille text can be printed in numerous languages and tactile graphics, like maps and bar charts, are printed with raised lines and color ink.
