This notebook has an older sibling too and now let's look at the new Ferrari 5000 laptop briefly. This baby will pump up your adrenaline with its Turion 64X2 mobile processors from AMD and promises to give arch rival Asus' Lamborghini laptop sleepless nights. The Ferrari is the ultimate in style and performance. It sports a 15.4in screen and is housed in the finest light carbon-fibre casing. Nice but it does not beat my favorite titanium casings on IBM Thinkpad Z Series notebooks.The Ferrari 5000 will be available in colors like black and Ferrari red and would include options like VoIP (voice over IP) handset as well as a 1.3Mp webcam mounted just above the LCD (liquid crystal display) screen. Some other options found on the notebook include wireless LAN for 802.11a/b/g, high-capacity 160GB hard drive, a choice between a DVD super multi-double layer drive or an HD-DVD drive. The notebook comes preloaded with Windows XP Home Edition or Microsoft Windows Professional x64 Edition, Adobe Reader, Norton AntiVirus, and CyberLink PowerDVD and Power Producer.
