Hybrid hard drives on Microsoft Vista
vista-77images.jpgOne more reason which will stop you from diving head on in the Vista World – your pockets. Looks like users will need to spend some extra cash to get Vista OS installed on the notebooks. To run the OS on notebooks, one would need to get their machines equipped with hybrid hard drives. First the company released these statement Hybrid disk drives or systems that implement a hybrid disk drive must meet the requirements outlined here,". Well if this wasn’t enough, the company now comes up with another statement, which reads, "This requirement will go into effect for premium mobile systems in June 1 2007."

So now MS will make these hybrid hard drives a compulsory thing. Though many insiders and experts claim that the companies would have been informed by MS as early as November 2005.
