Today at InfoComm 2006 Panasonic had a very busy day. They unveiled a whole series of projectors perfect for classrooms, conference rooms, control rooms and churches and other larger venues. These projectors also include PT-D10000 and PT- DW10000 projectors which sports the Panasonic liquid-cooling system which is pretty handy as its cool the DMD chip and prevents the system from heating up. The onboard 3D-Color Management System ensures sharp and vibrant displays. That's the first time I've seen liquid cooling on projector systems.
The yet to be released PT-D10000 and PT- DW10000 projectors impresses one with its ability to deliver a brightness of 10,000 lumens ,a S-XGA+ resolution (1400x1050), and a contrast ratio of 4,000:1. The projectors also include the standard DVI input with HDCP, and DLP 10-bit video processing the lenses and optical modules of the D7000 series are also compatible with the new projectors. One also finds the Panasonic exclusive dynamic iris and advanced image processing technology and the PJLink standard Ethernet control protocol makes the projector compatible with other manufacturer products.
