Asus, the Taiwan maker of reputable motherboards and graphic cards is making some high performance foray into the cooling solutions market. By the looks of the Asus Silent Square, it not only looks sexy but this 656gram monster can do some excellent silent cooling.

The Silent Square incorporates a double side soldering fin that included "wave-shaped" fins for larger heat exchange area and more efficient heat transfer. It maintains Intel and AMD processor temperatures at levels most suitable for high-performance and stable computing. The onboard 92mm fan is positioned between double side fins with PWM control, meaning it resides inside the heatsink itself. It has VRM (Voltage Regulator Module) thermal protection which are critical to processor operation and overall system reliability.
