NEC has developed a credit card-sized cellphone that will target the Asian market when released this fall. The N908 cellphone comes with a twist - it does away with the traditional keypad and uses a touchscreen user interface instead for navigational purposes. This also translates into saving more space, reducing the overall size of the N908 down to that of a credit card. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, a microSD card slot. USB and BLuetooth connectivity as well as dual stereo speakers. Unfortunately, the presence of a touchscreen makes it harder to send text messages, as one will have to either master the hand writing recognition software or tap away at the on-screen keyboard. The advantage of a touchscreen would be a larger viewing area that ordinary cellphones cannot provide. Chances are high that the N908 will not be making its way to the U.S., so you'll have to import one if you crave for the N908.
Pros : Extremely small, large screen
Cons : Touchscreen makes it more fragile, harder to send text messages
