Buffalo of Japan took a look at the car bumper and decided it is a wise move to add some rubber protection at the sides of its new portable hard drive cases. These
rubber linings are meant to cushion the shock that results from an unexpected fall or an unwarranted knock. The new HD-PHC range is capable of handling hard drives that come in capacities of 40GB, 80GB, and 120GB, and they will retail at the recommended retail price of $110, $145, and $200 respectively when released sometime later this month.
