Canon has introduced a quartet of scanners into the market that are bound to fall in line with any budget and lifestyle needs. The famous four are the new CanoScan 8600F, LiDE 600F, CanoScan 4400F and the LiDE 70 color image scanners. All four models are able to scan photos at a maximum of 4800 x 9600ppi optical resolution for crystal clear and razor sharp images. The CanoScan 8600F and CanoScan 4400F are equipped with a built-in Film Adapter Unit (FAU) that enables scanning of 35mm negatives and mounted slides. The former has the ability to take in medium format negatives, making it suitable for either the amateur or professional. All models also come with 'EZ Buttons' that enables you to access common functions at a touch of a single button, including copying, scanning, and even creating a PDF file. The CanoScan 8600F, LiDE 600F, CanoScan 4400F and the LiDE 70 color image scanners will retail for $179, $149, $99, and $79 respectively.
