Toshiba will be introducing a new range of TransMemory USB flash drives at the end of this year, with the 16GB version being the top dog. These new drives will be equipped with U3 Launchpad software that enables the user to carry along his or her working environment wherever they go. The software suite includes common productivity applications such as e-mail and a Web browser. Once you're done with your work and saved it onto the TransMemory USB flash drive, you can remove it without leaving any trace behind. The TransMemory USB flash drives will be available in sizes of 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, and the afore-mentioned 16GB. The first four models will be launched in November while the flagship 16GB model will be unveiled in December. All these drives are equipped with U-Safe, a password-based security protection software that prevents unauthorized access.
