Kingston has launched its 1GB microSD memory card today in order to bring a greater amount of storage to customers and consumers worldwide. 1GB of space does not really amount to much these days, as the increased capacity is quickly filled up with songs, photos, and videos. Nevertheless, this is a step in the right
direction as more and more mobile devices such as MP3 players, video players, and digital cameras take up the microSD standard. The new microSD memory card from Kingston will come bundled with a Secure Digital adapter so that you can also use it as a full-sized SD card with other compatible devices. The built-in write-protect switch feature will come in handy to prevent against accidental data loss.
