Mitsubishi's new MiniMits XD80U projector is a great projector that targets the business community, and it doesn't hurt that it also holds the distinction of being the smallest, lightest, and most affordable fully-fledged projector from Mitsubishi. The XD80U is extremely portable, with a size that is a wee bit larger than the typical

hardcover book. The lens cap is opened and closed via a small level, ensuring the cap remains with the XD80U at all times. Unfortunately, the XD80U comes with a less than functional remote control and a low contrast ratio which produces some rather washed out colors at times. Other than those gripes, the XD80U has a decent level of performance with its dual color mode and a brightness of 1372 lumens, quick start up time and a comparatively quick shut down period. You can pick up the XD80U for $495. Just make sure you have enough cash reserves to purchase a new lamp, as the XD80U requires a replacement lamp after a mere 1,500 hours of use.
Pros : Dual color mode, portable, speedy cool down period
Cons : Noisy, low contrast ratio
