Mouse Computer of Japan has introduced a couple of new desktop computers which are powered by Intel's self-proclaimed "best processors in the world" - the Core 2 Duo microprocessor. Both Mice (a play on the company's name), the
LM-IS800 and LM-I716, share the same specifications although the former comes in a micro tower casing and the latter in a standard issue enclosure. Besides running on the Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz processor, both CPUs are ably aided by 1GB of DDR2 memory which can be upgraded up to 4GB, an integrated Intel graphics chipset, a PCI Express x16 slot, a Multi Dual-Layer DVD burner, and a 260GB SATA hard drive. Judging from the specs, both PCs are more suitable for general office use than other more intensive tasks such as gaming and graphics editing. You might want to bump up the RAM and purchase a new PCI Express Graphics Processing Unit if you plan to convert this machine into a decent all-rounder.
