
Intel has released details regarding the new Quad-Core Xeon processors which will share the same design as the recently announced Intel Core 2 Quadro, down to the very same Kentsfield core. Both chips are essentially the same, and the only
equipped with a 1066MHz FSB and 8MB of Level 2 cache. Expect to see these new powerful processors sometime in Q1 2007 with the X3220 and X3210 retailing for
$851 and $690 respectively.
