SanDisk has unveiled its V-Mate Memory Card Video Recorder at the IFA 2006 event, and this simple device works great for those who want to an instant video fix on their portable media players, including crowd favorites like the iPod, Zen Vision: M, and even the Sony PSP. The V-Mate can be connected to any analog video and

audio output, which then enables it to record video directly into a variety of memory card formats such as the ubiqitous SD card, MMc, and the entire range of Sony Memory Sticks. Video recording quality is set at 640 x 480 pixels, making the end result compatible with most of the portable media players available in the market. Navigating through the V-Mate's interface is child's play, as it follows the intuitive TV interface that everyone is used to. Pick one up for approximately $130 when it is released next month.
