Kingston has announced that it will begin to produce the new Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Class 2 card as well as upgrade its current 15-in-1 memory
card reader in order to support a wider range of memory cards. The new SDHC cards can be purchased from Kingston's global network of resellers and come in a maximum capacity of 4GB. Since SDHC cards are identical in size to the current SD card format, SDHC media are more than able to handle the high levels of data that devices today require, such as digital cameras and MP3 players. It also features a guaranteed minimum sustained transfer rate that enables it to support large digital video recordings for optimal performance. The only drawback is the lack of backwards compatibility - SDHC cards can only be recognized by SDHC host devices. Hence, Kingston will be adding in SDHC compatibility to its 15-in-1 memory card reader. The new SDHC cards will come with a lifetime warranty.Pros : High speed data transfer rate
