Just take a quick look around you at the plethora of gadgets that are available, and more often than not many of them can be recharged or work only through a USB
connection. One drawback is the fact that most powered USB ports are available in notebooks and desktop PCs only, so it is virtually impossible for you to lug around your computer or notebook everywhere you go. Thankfully, Thanko has developed a diminutive gadget dubbed the USBACH01 which comes in handy for road warriors. The USBACH01 comes with a couple of USB ports so you can connect a maximum of two USB devices while the USBACH01 is plugged into any available wall socket, enabling you to charge or use the device without the need for a computer. You can pick up this nifty little gadget from Japan for ¥1,270, which is relatively cheap. If only it came with more than a couple of ports, as one can never have too many USB ports IMHO.Pros : Does not need computer or notebook, acts as portable USB port
