
It is wise for AMD to take on some of their old treasures and reinvent them, after all they already made name from items such as the existing Athlon 64 FX for desktop computers. Now they shrunk the Athlon 64 FX making it, as they claim, use about 30 percent less energy than the earlier versions. The retail price is not as bead as well, at $169 to $301 depending on speed, I think it is already a fair deal.
