New processors are sprouting like crazy here and there nowadays. Just recently AMD or Advanced Micro Devices announced that they are planning to launch two new ones at the same time later this
month. They are the two dual-core processors, the Athlon 64 X2 5400+ and 5600+.
It was also said that Dell will not come of late. They are also planning to launch their own weapon at the same time as AMD launch theirs. Dell will come out with two models of its Dimension-series desktops, the C521 and E52, built using the Athlon X2 5600+, as the source still say. But all will not end there, as expected AMD will not let Dell have the last laugh, as they are still planning to launch another one of their kind, another new processor from AMD, the Athlon 64 X2 6000+.
Regardless with all the fuss the new processors are creating, the source still added that AMD will also continue shipping its 90nm Athlon 64 X2 3800+, 4200+, 4800+ and 5000+ CPUs. But though no news of the launch yet as of December 15, the new CPUs are both already available on their official websites.
AMD to launch Athlon 64 X2 5400+ and 5600+ soon
