ENVY u:734 sure knows how to get attention. VoodooPC is well known for its design of sleek, and powerful notebooks. But i guess it up and outdone itself this time with the ENVY u:734. At 17-inch, 8.5-pounds, it sure is one powerful machine. It features an Intel Core Duo T2600 (2.16-GHz) processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, an NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX graphics module, 80GB HDD, a dual-layer DVD/CD burner, and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. The verdict? As the ENVY u:734 have a lot of selling points it still should be weight against high-proceed offerings like Alienware’s $2,500 SLI notebook. The Aurora m9700 in regards to many other aspects is still our top choice. But the ENVY u:734 is not too far in our list when it comes to customization options, excellent sound, and extended battery. It sure does warrant the boutique price.
