Brother International Corporation will introduce this month a new line of color inkjet Multi Function Center (MFC) models. Brother's new line includes three models: MFC-465CN, MFC-685CW, and MFC-885CW.
The first one sports a 2" color LCD and Ethernet network. In addition, the MFC-685CW features a wide 3.3" color LCD, “before&after” photo edit viewing and fax previewing, 802.11b/g wireless networking, a corded telephone handset with digital answering machine and full duplex speakerphone. The flagship model - MFC-885CW has a wider 4.2" LCD screen, and besides the features of the previous model it come equipped with a 5.8GHz cordless digital phone handset, expandable to a total of four handsets.
The recommended price for each model ranges between $150-$250, the middle model being priced at $200. These new All-in-One Brother products will replace the popular MFC-440CN, MFC-665CW and MFC-845CW models. All three will be available in office superstores, major retailers and distributors in October.
