Dell has introduced today a new notebook Precision M2300. It is a business-oriented version of Dell Latitude D630. This mobile workstation weights only 5.37lbs, but brings stunning performance and enhanced security including multi-level user authentication, secure e-mail and web access.
All models come with NVIDIA Quadro FX 360M graphic card for mobile 3D rendering, video editing, animation, and CAD manipulation. The basic model features a 80GB hard drive, but the customers have the option to choose a much faster solid state drive (SSD) of 32GB. Its display is much sharper (1440x900 pixel) in comparison with the 1280x800 of most of Dell's other models.
A regular configuration includes a 2GHz Intel Core Duo processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM memory,80GB hard drive and retails for $1,439. The system can be ordered today, but it ships in late November.
