Netscape Navigator, a pioneer of web browsing won't have official support starting from March 1st. The web browser owned currently by AOL was a leader of web browsing in '90s.The lack of interest in marketing and good services lead to the decline, competing with the popular Internet Explorer.
Today, the venerable Netscape Navigator has only 0.61% of the market. Bought by AOL in 1998, the browser couldn't revive. Netscape opened its source code, allowing developers to use it and alter it, giving birth to Mozilla and Firefox.
Netscape will be available to download, but without technical support. Although if you are a big fan, you can install a Netscape extension for Firefox.
