The Quadband Wireless N Router was presented by D-Link at Cebit trade show. The new model works in 802.11n standard and supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz simultaneously. Thus they called it "Quadband".
Although the 802.11n standard is under development, it will be ratified by the end of the year or early in 2009. The Quadband Wireless N Router (or DIR-855) will be available in May and will cost $377.
The router has 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and an OLED display to keep the eye on the network activity. Also D-Link will launch the Wireless N Access Point (or DAP-2553), a product developed for home and small offices.
