Seagate EE25 Series hard disc drives for world's first digital cinema camera

Seagate Technology LLC  has just reinforced its commitment to the Entertainment Industry  by present ting  its 2.5-inch hard drives solely made for the
storage needs of the  Silicon Imaging SI-1920HDVR, the world's first digital cinema camera with 10-bit Cineform RAW(TM) direct-to-disc recording.. This camera is ideal for the independent filmmaker as it is able to expose and record at 1080/24/25/30P or 720P up to 72fps in a raw "digital negative" format.

Sillicon Imaging will now include the Seagate EE25 Series hard disc drives, and Momentus 5400.3 hard disc drive with perpendicular recording technology into its equipment. It is also capable of delivering in temperatures ranging from 30 to 85 degrees C and in high-humidity and high-altitude environments.  It is also built to absorb shock and vibration up to 350 Gs, meaning you can drop it from the sky at 20Metres and it will still survive.
